About Mr Walker
Mr Walker trained in London at the Institute of Urology, University College. In the course of his training he undertook fellowships in America to Duke University and Cedars Sinai, LA. He has been a consultant specialising in this area for 10 years now. He sits on the executive of the female urology section of the British Society of Urological Surgeons.
"I feel strongly that people should have the opportunity to access the best possible treatment for this very embarrassing and common medical problem. Simple surgical procedures are available for those who don’t benefit or are unable to do pelvic floor exercises."
Urinary incontinence is only one of many areas of male and female bladder and pelvic floor problems that Mr Walker specialises in. "The area I work in is quite specialised and unfortunately few specifically focus on these common problems suffered. Being able to do so undoubtedly improves clinical and surgical outcome through seeing a large numbers of patients."
Mr Walker also works closely with physiotherapists and continence advisors in the field of pelvic floor dysfunction and urinary incontinence.
